The charity has committed $15,000 to help the family of Amy Willis. Amy is a bright 15-year-old girl who lives with her single mum Marie-Louise and sister Ash in Peregian Springs. Amy has a rare genetic disorder called Angelman’s Syndrome. Amy is non-verbal, fully incontinent, has a profound intellectual impairment, global developmental delay, a sleep disorder, refractory epilepsy and requires round-the-clock care to assist with mobility, hygiene, and daily activities. The support for Amy was made possible by the amazing generosity of our Ambassador Allan Langer and local builder, Warwick Douglas.
